Free Appropriation (production by Lazy) was released on RedTide's Beta EP in the summer of 2005, however, only the instrumental was released on the CD. Only people that attended our live shows ever got to hear the finished product. Shortly thereafter, I recorded the vocals to the song, but they were lost in the mix of doing other projects, moving, and life in general. Here is the original version as it was intended to be heard. Unfortunately, most of the individual track files for this song were lost so Mudd has painstakingly remastered this song as a two-track with my new vocals. Of the three songs in the first phase, lyrically this song is, in my opinion, the closest to my lyricism in my Time Pieces Trilogy, IE: news as entertainment and our degradation of the environment.
